When planning lighting for bathrooms or saunas, one has to keep in mind how well the lights handle moisture. The resistance is shown by an universal IP rating, which consists of two numbers. The second number shows the resistance to moisture – the larger the number, the more resistant the light is. For walls and ceilings in a bathroom or a sauna, suitable lights starting from IP44. For floors, it’s preferred to use lights with rating IP65 or above.
